| This picture is of the Famous nugget called "Heart of Gold," found by Nick Martineks. Was at the time, Alaska's 5th largest nugget ever recorded. The nugget weighed 90 ounces and 17 pennyweight troy or equal to 7.5 troy pounds. It was found while working tailing piles with a bulldozer. The nugget was found mineral stained and black in color.
